Navy Provence Floor Rug

Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, Weaver Green's Provence Navy rug is hand woven by craftsmen and women and made entirely from recycled plastic bottles! They only use weaving houses committed to employ skilled adults, who are paid fairly and enjoy comfortable and fair working conditions. Our Weaver Green textiles look and feel like wool but are water and mould resistant, easy to clean, hard wearing and have great environmentally friendly credentials.

All Weaver Green's textiles and rugs are hand loomed, so some variations in colour and size can be expected. If you are ordering a rug for a specific sized area, please contact us before ordering so we can check measurements before sending your order out to you.

Pilling

Please note that as they have designed their recycled plastic bottle yarn to look and feel like natural wool, some pilling can occur particularly in their softer weaves (Diamond, Herringbone and Provence), as can some yarn snagging on our looser weaves. Weaver Green advise that their softer Diamond, Herringbone, Brighton Stripe, Oslo and Provence weaves are used in low traffic areas including bedrooms and bathrooms rather than hallways and busy living areas.

For a more resilient pet friendly weave look at their tighter woven and harder wearing Juno, Kasbah, Iris, Andalucia and Nomad ranges.

Cleaning guide - hoover loose debris (Weaver Green recommend to use a lower suction setting without the brush function) then either hand wash using a light detergent, or smaller rugs up to the size 180cm x 120cm can also be machine washed at home in a domestic sized drum at 30 degrees, using a non – biological washing detergent. For larger rugs, 240cm x 170cm and 300cm x 250cm they can easily be washed in a commercial sized drum at your local launderette under the same temperature settings, or taken outside and hand washed and hosed down. Our rugs come out of the machine virtually dry, so simply allow to air dry naturally on your line. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.
